These Chessmen are beautiful, but more importantly based on all the Research I can find are a very accurate replication of the Original pieces from the famous 1933 Botvinnik vs Flohr match.
Especially the knight appears spot on. Good job Royal Chess Mall!

This is a lovely set, perfectly crafted and weighted. If you like pieces with a wide base, as I do, then look no further - you will love these. The pieces also have a pleasantly chunky feel about them. I was a bit iffy about the knights from the photos at first, but I needn't have worried - they fit perfectly with the other pieces. Kudos also to RCM for speedy delivery!
