Every piece is beautiful. Shipping took around 11 days to the U.S. but great pieces especially for the price.
Retired and new to Chess, just learning now I have time.
After much research, I found that a Staunton set is the most common design, so I purchased a weighted plastic set, nice enough to learn on.
Then as I got more interested, started to desire a nice Wooden set, again after research settled on Royal Chess Mall.
They have a great range of handmade pieces that look amazing, however I was drawn to this 3.6” Pro Staunton weighted golden rosewood set of pieces. Ordering was straight forward, comms great, tracking details great, and the pieces arrived on the day as per tracking update, ordered and delivered in 11 days to Australia.
Simply beautiful, amazing detail, feel so nice, I am very happy, thank you to the craftspeople who made them.
I already had a nice wooden board which you can see in the pictures of the set displayed in my Living Room.

What a wonderful experience working with Royal Chess Mall. I had the 19" board and 3.6" Professional Staunton Chess Pieces sent to a freight forwarding company in Miami Florida, which took 7 days, with a final destination of Costa Rica and had concerns ordering it because of possible shipping damage and or damage as customs inspected the set in different countries (5 or 6) as it made it's way to me, I needed not to worry. The packing was fantastic, other then deliberate intent there is no way that the set could have been damaged.
The board has an incredibly smooth finish and is beautifully made as are the pieces. The board was flawless as I expected it to be, there were a few very small marks on a couple of pieces that some would call blemishes, to me it authenticates the handmade workmanship. I would have preferred a darker wood which to me looks a bit more elegant but opted for Golden Rosewood & Maple, which is really quite nice, due to the dark wood table that the set will be used on. The 19" board works very well with this set, and the size and added weight of the pieces are comfortable to use.
Not knowing what to expect as far as quality and the cost to return it being prohibitive I was reluctant to spend any more for a set then I did and after receiving it I don't believe that I needed to, but there is one other set I saw and the detail really caught my eye, and I am considering ordering one more of Royal Chess Mall's set of artwork.
Pieces are expertly crafted and cannot be beaten for the price. Very happy with my purchase!
Excellent craftsmanship ! Fast delivery from India to Canada. Two extra queens make up the 34 pieces. These pieces are sitting on top of a 21" golden rosewood and maple board bought from RoyalChessMall also.
