You can tell it's a set with great quality, the great craftmanship is evident, mostly in the knight. The packaging was very well done and all the pieces seem to be in perfect state.
Just one detail, the "black pieces" are quite darker in the set I got than the one shown in the website. But I guess that depends on the wood and the specific tree it was taken from.
The pieces are very beautiful and feel well balanced and weighty. The craftsmanship that has been put into these pieces is absolutely stunning. It's a real joy playing with and looking at them. After receiving these stunning pieces I immediately ordered a matching chess board from Royal Chess Mall, Shipping is fast and all goods are very well packed! Highly recommended!
These are the maximum size you would want for 2" squares. The workmanship and grain quality are perfect. The pieces make for a great display.

Most beautiful chess pieces I've ever bought. Only problem a pawn came chipped and I requested another one and have yet to receive it. I Certainly don't want to replace it with my own pawn.
