Our 3.5" Jacques Cook type reproduction in camel bone is modeled after the Cooke variant of Staunton chessmen.

Each piece follows a defined grammar: sturdy rooks resemble solid castles, minimalist pawns have slim collars, bishops feature simple mitres, the tall king bears a cross, and the queen has a distinctive coronet.

The knights, inspired by the Elgin Marbles, are crafted by joining two pieces of camel bone vertically to achieve the required thickness. Camel bone, a sustainable substitute for ivory, is highly prized for its natural beauty, durability, and ability to hold intricate details.
