Imperfect Chess Sets may have slight repairs carried out in the pieces and minute color mismatch may be observed.

Otherwise, they are of high quality like any of our typical chess sets of the same range and are in proper playable/ usable condition.

The 1972 Championship Fischer–Spassky Chess Set is inspired by the historic 1972 World Chess Championship, famously known as the "Match of the Century," played between American challenger Bobby Fischer and Soviet World Champion Boris Spassky in Reykjavík, Iceland. Handcrafted from premium Boxwood and Ebony Wood, the pieces feature a rich lacquered distress antiqued finish that evokes the charm of a treasured vintage set. Combining classic tournament styling with exceptional craftsmanship, this set celebrates one of the most influential moments in chess history while offering a timeless playing and collecting experience.
