This is an amendment to my previous review of this set;
I have purchased this set and others from RCM, their efforts of customer care has been excellent!
My French Grandmaster set had one issue with a Knight, it was significant, all I needed to do was provide a
picture of this problem, RCM provided a new replacement Knight, this was resolved very easily and in a positive manner!!
The shipping time was fast and my set is complete with all quality pieces!

The quality of both woods are very good!
There are 2 issues:
1) NOT even 1 pawn measured more than 1.2 in diameter and many were 1.9 in base diameter, as measured
with a digital meter, so I know this is accurate, the stated diameter is 1.3
2) ONE Knight ( of course the stand out piece!) is actually carved with one sided preference!
Meaning, if you were to put a PLUM line on it, the Knights head and neck line are more on ONE side of its body;
It, still stands without a wobble, but the UNSYMETRICAL carving of the knight is very obvious!
These are very fine chess pieces, well worth the money.
