A Royal Chess Mall set is an investment in master craftsmanship. This warranty outlines our commitment to that quality and provides the necessary guidance to ensure your set remains a treasured heirloom.

Kindly note some instructions for care:

  • Please keep wooden chess equipment away from direct sunlight and in a medium moisture environment. The woods are not UV resistant and must be kept for use indoors only. The ideal room temperature should be between 54°F (12°C) to 77°F (25°C).
  • Make sure to keep away from any direct points of contact with heat.
  • Use a dry, lint-free cloth to wipe away any dust or fingerprints on your chessmen or the chessboards.

Warranty period

  • Chess Pieces - 3years
  • Chess Boards, Boxes, & Travel Chess Sets - 6 months

Warranty coverage

  • Covers cracking on all items
  • Plus warping & other manufacturing defects

Terms & Conditions

  • The warranty is applicable from the date of purchase.
  • Kindly keep a record of the Order id & date of purchase received at the time of placing an order on our selling channels (eBay/ Etsy/ Amazon/ Company Website or any other website, the company has advertised on).
  • Warranty will be void if any instances of manipulation or damage due to external factors beyond our control are found.
  • The cost of shipping the replacement will be borne by us.
  • We try to maintain a regular stock of all our items. However, in circumstances where replacements are not available for ready dispatch, please allow us some time to remanufacture these pieces.
  • In the event the design has been discontinued or we are unable to manufacture the replacements, a warranty credit in the form of store credit/ refund may be issued.
  • Any instance of damage in transit has to be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Warranty is not applicable to items categorized as Imperfect Chess Items and Warehouse Clearance.
