This chess set has been a fruit of hard work done by our best artisans over 2 and a half months after we were given this design as a project by a chess piece collector

I bought this Beautiful set of Chessmen solely because the Knights remind me of the set's namesake, Mikhail Tal. The expression on their face is of a Maverick, a Bad Boy, a little bit of a loose cannon who might not have been as precise and methodical as 2 of his fellow World Champions Botvinnik and Petrosian, but was a
Wizard on the chessboard skilled in the art of Attack which could unsettle and sometimes get the better of the Brainiacs. He is one of my favorite Grandmasters all time
and I always enjoy reviewing/replaying one of his games win or lose.
I am highly impressed by the craftmanship of the chessmen. It is superb and the chessmen are similar to the photos on your website. All 34 pieces are well polished and totally defect free. The pieces are well weighted and moving them around the board feels great.

Wonderful chess pieces. I bought the Golden Rosewood 1960's Soviet Chess Championship pieces. They are perfect, beautifully made and satisfying to move around the board. The pawns and knights in this set are distinctive. They work perfectly on a 55mm square board. Pieces were quickly despatched and well wrapped and protected. Strong recommendation.

This is such a beautiful set! Great feel, craftsmanship, and design. I think this set looks better as an exhibition piece on a nice coffee table, but it's quite pleasant also to play with. It's just lovely to contemplate.
