I was looking for antiqued boxwood chess pieces, and I decided to purchase these because I really love the design of the RCM Dubrovnik chess set.
The packaging was very careful and secure, and the pieces are just as beautiful as they looked in the photos. They have a wonderfully solid, chunky feel and look incredibly cool. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Perfect purchase. Very high quality of the set (sensors match perfectly). Details are amazing, and the knights are art in Royal Chess Mall, even with these 3 " pieces. I love the knights carved by them. This chess set is more beautiful than the original sets of Chessnut; no discussion on this.

Superior quality. Ebony pieces feel heavy and cold. Carved details are amazing on the knight, the king's cross, and the finishes on the rook or bishop. It will be amazing to play with them with my son, and you can use them as interior design for your home. About the size, it is perfect for me. A little 4.1 inches would be the maximum, further of this size seems very big to play for me.

Exquisite set! Arrived impeccably packaged and flawless... the value is amazing compared to other providers of similar luxury sets! I will be ordering another set soon... the products and service are exceptional!

The chessmen are really nice, heavy, tall (fits well on 55mm square), beautifully crafted.
The ebony version reinforce the fineness and modern look.
I am really delighted, it looks great on both modern glossy board and classic black/white mat board.

I am very satisfied. Beautifully crafted figures.

These is a second set that I purchased from RCM, the craftsmanship of these board and pieces are great superiority, just a bit disappointed of inside the board a small black dot stains in a red cloth..

Fantastic bag amazing

I have a 24 inch chessboard. After searching for a marble set of chess pieces, with at least a 4 inch king were not successful. so I decided to go with wood. I didn’t want just any ordinary set, I I wanted something very nice. When I received my Royal Chess Mall Stanton pieces, there was no doubt I made the right decision. Very Happy.

Great chess pieces , beautiful ivory.color and patina

Beautiful set, one damaged knight on delivery, replaced inside two weeks no problem. My third luxury set from Royal Chess Mall. There’ll be more.

I am so delighted of having these pieces, excellent craftsmanship and love to touch in every time i move it because of the weigh and balance. The imperfections is just the white rook and a white pawn found a bit cracked but its been repaired and fine, i think i’m going to buy for another set again.. very recommended these company..

This chessboard has a full color, smooth shape, and is the best companion for home collection and playing chess. Obviously, it provides a long-term immersive environment for playing chess. With every step of playing chess, you can feel the full and rich sound of solid wood collision, giving people a visual and sound infectious and impactful force. This is the superior choice for both art ornaments and gaming tools

It’s beautifully made, with excellent detail and a substantial, high-quality feel. The pieces are well weighted, nicely balanced, and very satisfying to play with. The knights in particular are exceptionally well carved and give the set a distinctive character. Overall, it feels like a genuinely premium chess set and offers excellent craftsmanship for the price. The imperfections are indeed slight.

Very attractive, distinguished chess board, fits excelent in for and colour with my chess pieces.

I am so impressed with my chess pieces. They are stunning. Delivery to South Africa took only 5 days,

Very beautiful chess pieces. They are well-finished and heavy, ensuring great stability on the board.
Handling them is a pure delight! Fast shipping and perfect packaging are further reasons for satisfaction.

I have 2 sets and I will continue to collect these works, unique designs and true quality, I am happy to participate and I thank these masters

One thing that makes this Calvert distinct from my other chess sets is that this takes me back in time, up to the days of the old masters like DeLabourdonnais, Morphy, Staunton, etc. The design is outstanding, and the heft is great. The pieces themselves are very stable. At first I thought I will just display it as some sort of an artifact, but now I enjoy playing with it. In fact, its baptism is the famous McDonnel - LaBourdonnais 1834 Match. Imagine playing those games over - with an 1834-era chess set!

Beautiful set with a premium feel, Fischer didn’t lie when he said they are a joy to play with! They glide beautifully across the board. The craftsmenship is amazing, any “imperfections” are minor and if anything give the pieces character. The set came packaged amazingly, with each piece individually wrapped, and an extra queen of each color for promotions. I use a board with 55MM squares and they fit perfectly, the pieces can be fluently moved without knocking into each other. Would recommend !

Excellent bone chess set with an outstanding patina. 100% natural material, tested and confirmed. Excellent craftsmanship, impeccable quality, and even better than expected.

Royal Chess Mall’s chess pieces are beautiful in person - every bit as much as their photographs and more. To hold these and move them about the chess board is a pleasure. I have a board with 2” squares and it is a perfect match for this 3.8” king size. Shipping was good to Arizona (US). Customer service was excellent and very responsive. Thank you!

First, it was really well packed and received 2 days earlier than expected.
I could hardly find the imperfection, it was on a pawn, and really minor.
That said, the white pièces which are antique lacquered are really really nice on the white squares and also on the black ones, they really pop.
They capture the light so well and reflect it.
The black pieces are like stone, very solid, mat finish, a bit shiny when cleaning them, a very mineral feeling,
Nevertheless, we can notice the dark grey veins of the wood, really nice.

This chess piece is lustrous, feels excellent to the touch, and has a perfect weight. It is an excellent product for playing chess or as a home decoration. At the same time, I am very grateful for your assistance during the customs inspection process when I purchased it. Thank you.
