My first chess set.
I was a bit nervous ordering from overseas, but the knights in this set just caught my eye and I could not get them out of my head.
Other online suppliers offered the same set, but the proportions in this set just looked better.
Its really nice when you order something online and the product surpasses your expectations.
I dont think I could be happier with my purchase.
The service from before the purchase, up until after the set was deliverer was excellent!
If I can save some money in the next couple of months, I am sure I will not hesitate to use Royal Chess Mall again.

Couldn’t be any happier! As per usual, my pieces came well packaged and pristine. I have several sets from RCM and all of them are unique and such a pleasure to play on. This set in particular, is my favourite to play with. Generously weighted, well balanced and very streamlined. The Kings stand tall and proud. Queens are robust and feel powerful. The Bishops are sleek yet sneaky. The Knights are well detailed, and really fit in the fingers perfectly and of course the rooks are stalky, they pack a punch when attacking. Each piece is designed perfectly and feels like each piece compliments each other. What a joy to move them around. Generously sized bases, wonderful detail, “chunky” would best describe them yet effortless to manoeuvre. I will say that they are even more spectacular in person then in photos. Absolutely perfect, well done RCM and all that work for you. I couldn’t be any happier! You know we’ll be purchasing from you again. Until next time.

I recently purchased the 3.9" Russian Zagreb 59' Chess Set (Ebony Wood), and I must say, the product has completely surpassed my expectations. As this is my very first chess set from Royal Chess Mall, I was initially a bit nervous about ordering from overseas. However, the unique design of this particular set caught my eye and I simply could not get them out of my head.
Now that the pieces have arrived, I can confirm that the craftsmanship is truly world-class. The Ebony wood is absolutely beautiful, with a deep, rich finish that feels premium to the touch. The Weighted aspect is spot on: each piece has a perfect, solid weight that makes moving them across the board a tactile delight.
