The advertised photographs of the chess pieces were accurate. Shipping to the west coast of the United States from India was quick considering I made the purchase during the weekend (roughly 1.5 weeks). The pieces were well protected individually (foam) and packaged together in a box.

Great chess set, with some minor color issues.

The pieces are beautifully carved, nicely weighted, and look good on the board. The wood color, however, doesn't match as closely as I might have hoped. One of the dark pawns is noticeably lighter than the others, and the dark squares on the board are a slightly different hue than the dark pieces, despite being the same type of wood. Also, the dark squares of the board and the dark wood border vary noticeably in darkness from one corner to the other.
