I've been getting into owning 3.25 inch sets. This Reykjavik set is number 3 in my collection. What I like about this set. It's a set that you can bring to the club, coffee shop, Cafè, even at home. It's a good Staunton pattern that doesn't have any confusing design features. It's a smaller and lighter in weight or equal to some tournament sets. Yet big enough to where you don't bump into other pieces while trying to play a game. It fits perfectly on a board with 2 inch / 50mm squares. Which is shown in my photo. The down side of the set would be the Rooks. The top looks extremely fragile with the deep cuts and thin parapet. Definitely going to snap with very little impact. This is the worst design feature of the Reykjavik design. With a bad Rook design. I wouldn't recommend playing Blitz with this set. The Knights are a cartoony design and not a Reykjavik 72 WCC Knight design. So it's a lighter warmer cozy design compared to the 72 design. For the most part it's a good quality set for casual game play and maybe analysis but in my opinion just a bit too big for analysis.
