3" Craftsman Staunton Chessnut Air Sensor Compatible Set- Chess Pieces Only- Golden Rosewood

$5,392.00 TWD

The 3" Professional Staunton Craftsman Chess Set in Golden Rosewood is a luxury chess set, handcrafted for discerning players who value refined aesthetics, precision craftsmanship, and modern smart-board compatibility. Each piece reflects expert workmanship, premium finishing, and the timeless elegance of the classic Staunton design.

Designed for seamless use with Chessnut Air and Air+ boards, the pieces feature empty bases with customized holes, allowing smooth installation of the Chessnut Sensor Chip Set for accurate and consistent gameplay tracking.

Base Hole Details (Approx.):

  • Pawns: 10 mm diameter × 10.5 mm depth (sensor trimming required)

  • All Other Pieces: 12 mm diameter × 16 mm depth
As each piece is handmade, slight variations may occur. All pieces are tested to work reliably with Chessnut sensors.

Sensor Trimming (Pawns Only):
For pawn installation, only the top rubber/plastic rim (outer lip) of the sensor requires light trimming. Do not cut the center disc or the bottom flat surface. Trim gradually and test-fit until the sensor sits flush and secure.

Includes 34 green felts, custom-sized to match the bases of the chess pieces.

3" Craftsman Staunton Chessnut Air Sensor Compatible Set

Being able to combine the Technology of a Chessnut Board with the luxury of Royal Chess Mall's sensor compatible chess pieces is a match made in heaven. I love my new Craftsman Staunton set. The wood grain in the golden rosewood pieces is stunning.

My new chess pieces for the Chessnut Air

I treated myself to some new wooden pieces for my Chessnut Air chessboard. They were shipped promptly from India via FedEx. The parcel arrived in Germany within six days. I was able to track the pieces' journey easily using the tracking service.

I’m thrilled. What precise and delicate work! Installing the sensors is no problem, even for someone who is not particularly handy. I removed the felt plate from the original plastic figures with my fingernails and then pulled out the sensor. Next, apply solvent-free adhesive around the edge of the hole for the sensors. Insert the sensor and press on the enclosed felt pad. Only the rubber extension needs to be cut off the pawn sensors.
