Imperfect Chess Sets may have slight repairs carried out in the pieces and minute color mismatch may be observed.

Otherwise, they are of high quality like any of our typical chess sets of the same range and are in proper playable/ usable condition.

These chess pieces are an accurate reproduction of the iconic design of 1849 series Original Staunton Chess Pieces. This design is considered as the Gold Standard for collectors and chess players worldwide. No collection can be considered complete without a set of this design.

The pieces have been crafted using genuine ebony wood and antiqued boxwood. Our innovative antiquing process gives the collectors a perception of vintage staunton chessmen with a beautiful patina.
