These beautiful pieces are so comfortable and weighted perfectly. The bottoms are nicely beveled making speed games more enjoyable. They look stunning and are very large in my hands. The board size recommendation is 2”-2.13” (50-55mm) squares, but those dimensions are too small imho. They look and feel much better on my 2.25” (57mm) square board and even that is on the small end of the spectrum. Again, all my opinion. They basically check all the boxes you’d expect from Staunton’s top shelf pieces, (build quality, craftsmanship details & professional finish) at a fraction of the price, making it one of the best values out there for high end luxury chessmen.

Beautiful and high quality set. Glad I ordered triple weight. Feels good in hand. Packing was careful. All pieces were individually wrapped in foam sheets. Only wish my chess play skills can come close to the same high standards, LOL.

What a beautiful set! Solid, and wonderfully detailed. The finish on the pieces is consistent and shows careful quality control. Pictures do not do this set justice. They really must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. The knights are my favorite!

The quality of the carved pieces is superb. The king looks like a traditional king the bishop is as it should be. And the knight is a piece of art. The pieces are heavily weighted. The entire set was well wrapped for shipment. I bought the set because it delivers on quality and price.
