Very pleased . Lovely weight to pieces .

I purchased these for my grandson who recently made his own chess board. He was excited and extremely impressed with the quality, colour and beautiful feel of the pieces. Iโm sure he is going to become a keen chess player. His woodworking skills are excellent so he will probably make his own special case to keep the pieces in pristine condition.

This red and black version of this set is a real looker! I love it! Also, the pieces are a real pleasure to move about and the weight and quality is super. Yet another terrific set from Royal Chess Mall!

My set arrived right on time, and very safely packed, with all the pieces, especially the king, well protected.
I was enormously impressed with the carving quality, especially the Knights where a lot of manual work is required.
I loved the good sized Rooks, and I always thought the original historical Staunton design had undersized Rooks given their actual playing value.
The extra Queens is a great touch.

These were exactly as advertised. Great condition and finish, the weight feels perfect when moving the pieces and has a satisfying feel when capturing opponents. Will buy again, as I gift these with my custom made chess boards.
