Not sure what the 'Player's Choice' really means in this set but now I'm all eyes. Looks like it really did leaves up to its name. It's now my favorite sets for everyday play among my many other sets from different vendors. I like it so much that I had just currently placed another order for a second set - for spare or for switches around, only this time in Golden Rosewood - also in 'slightly' imperfect conditions as the perfect ones are no more. This 'slightly' imperfect sets are limited stocks while supplies last. I would buy one or two more perfect condition sets if they still have it but unfortunately they were all sold out. My wished is that they would continue to make this sets available again as it's that good.
I was skeptical as this is my first attempts on buying 'imperfect' chess pieces, but this has exceeded my expectations as there were no majors flaws/imperfectness. only minor signs of used or very minor scuffs or marks here and there that's already been fixed/repaired - same as undergone refurbished. This is a beautiful and functional sets that's meant to be carried around for everyday play, not a set to be on display so eventually will have scuffs and marks so the imperfectness is not a problem. This is my first times buying from RCM and looks like it won't be the last.
