Good quality overall.
Fine details for all the pieces. The knights are beautiful.
Triple weighted pieces gives an additional plus to the set.
Very fast shipping via DHL. Outstanding experience.
I definitely do not recommend buying "slightly imperfect" cheaper version. There are too many imperfections in terms of chips and color variations.
The textile on the bottom of the pieces is a little bit too thin.
All in all, a good value for money.

Repro. 2016 Sinquefield Staunton. Iโll attach video. What I found slight color differences, black king cross and crown slightly smaller than white, small imperfection on black bishop, black knight little roughness on base. They look worse in writing lol. Look at video. As advertised minor blemishes. They really are minor. Very happy well worth the price. Originally 349.00 priced at 179.00 15% off. 152.00 for a great set.

The 2016 Sinquefield Staunton Chess Pieces from Royal Chess Mall is one of the best pieces I have in my collection. I have a dozen chess pieces, and this one really stands out. I love the Knight with it's intricate and detailed design. This is the Imperial Knight, and I believe that the image was patterned from a Unicorn. I love the size of the pieces, King height at 3.9 inches and a base of 1.7 inches. This fits perfectly into my 2.25 square inch board. It is a real pleasure playing with this set, and, more importantly, sometimes, I just want to hold and admire the pieces.
