Gave as a gift, and my boyfriend loved it. Nicely hand crafted and the weight of the board and chess pieces were great. Arrived sooner than expected. Would recommend.

Set was absolutely beautiful. Board and pieces are well made and balanced. Little problem with the carry case but think company will do the right thing.

I bought this as a gift for someone and he loves it. The board and the pieces are absolutely lovely and have a nice weight to them. I also like the height of the pieces. As the purchaser though, I am a bit disappointed. The red lining was dirty and had some type of black powder/oil reside on it that was immediately obvious when the storage case was open. He wont be able to display the case until we replace the lining. Theres also some damage on the corners of chess board itself. Some of the pieces do have some nicks and chips but I was expecting imperfections since this is a hand made item. Over all the item is lovely and the recipient likes it but for $400 I was expecting no mess or damage to the item. I will reorder from this shop, I will just be prepared to repackage the board and pieces into a new case.
