It is useless to photograph them ... the warmth of the dark pieces and the sobriety of the light ones can only be felt when you have them under your eyes. Impressive craftsmanship in every smallest detail. A wonderful knight and an imposing tower. Each piece is a triumph. I bought the set together with a suitable case, also of fine workmanship. Tha Alexandria set made in Padauk and Boxwood is a magnificently large crafted set. The knight piece is the showstopper of the set by far, but make no mistake the rest of the pieces accent the King piece quite handsomely. A very beautiful high end set for very affordable pricing. I order Alexandria set (rose wood and box wood). If I say beautiful, stunning, amazing it would be not good enough. This is absolute MASTERPIECE of ART. No picture on this website can deliver the real beauty of these pieces. We can look at every single piece for hours and hours with smile of pleasure on our face. The beauty of the wood is amazing! Difficult to say that they have been crafted “yesterday” or in 18th century for some royals. Massive THANK YOU for your incredible ART!
