I bought this set, together with the board and box.
It came very well packaged; it seems to me the care and attention paid to the packaging was meticulous, from the large board, to the storage and individual pieces. A credit, really.
As for the pieces and board themselves, they are 2nd to none. The pieces were well weighted, sufficiently hefty, and very pleasant to touch / move.
The differentiation between the 2 sides are good - you will not be 'confused' with the pieces in the middle game melee.
The board is superb; squares comfortable to set the pieces, and the edges just enough spare space to accommodate captured pieces. The contrast between light and dark squares is very good. Again, no confusion possible here.
And it is big, smooth, bright, attractive and luxurious. The felt on the underside adds a beautiful finish.
The storage box is excellent by itself. Accommodates each and every piece comfortably and safely, it is solid and secure.
Every single thing, from the board, to the storage to the pieces is very satisfying on the eye and touch. Lovely.
It is a worthy set to last years.
And there is even a faint, pleasant 'aroma' of wood when the game is on.
