オリジナルのドゥブロヴニク・セットは、50年代から60年代にかけて、有名な巨匠ヤコポヴィッチの工房で作られました。これらはボビー・フィッシャーがお気に入りと公言した駒で、様々なドキュメンタリーや写真で彼が分析する姿を見ることができるチェスセットです。ボビー・フィッシャーは、「私がこれまでプレーした中で最高のチェスセットだと思う。駒の精細さ、デザイン、......とにかく素晴らしいセットなんだ。

I’m really happy with 1950s Fischer Dubrovnik set. The pieces look great on the board and have a nice feel in hand. Every piece was individually wrapped and the delivery was fast. Overall a very good experience.

1950s' Fischer Dubrovnik Chess Set - Ebony & Boxwood - 3.8 " King

A truly beautiful chess set. The Knights, Bishops, King, and Queen are unique. The very wide base makes these chessmen very stable on the board. It's not hard to believe that this model was greatly appreciated by the great Bobby Fischer!
A huge thank you again to Royal Chess Mall for making this "little gem" available at a reasonable price and so quickly.

Perfect imperfect set!

Fantastic pieces! Not sure what’s slightly imperfect about them. Nicely carved, well weighted and a joy to play with. Will definitely consider buying more imperfect sets if they are of the same quality!

This is my first chess set that I bought from India. It is the most expensive chess set that I own. I really like it. It is simple and elegant. It is a chess set suitable for playing with friends, for studying and even for displaying on the coffee table in the living room. Indeed the chess pieces have some imperfections but I want you to know that they are difficult to notice.
