- The finish on the board is glossier than I anticipated but it is perfectly applied and the glossy finish shows off the beauty of the board and pieces.

이 체스 세트를 구입해서 정말 기쁩니다. 정말 아름다워서, 심술궂기로 유명한 10대 아들조차 이걸 보고는 “체스 세트가 정말 멋지네”라고 말했을 정도입니다. 디자인은 깔끔하고 모던하며(스탠턴 체스 세트보다 훨씬 더 멋집니다), 말들은 크고 정교하게 만들어졌습니다(제작상의 유일한 문제라면 나이트의 작은 머리가 약간 비대칭이라는 점인데, 거의 눈에 띄지 않을 정도입니다). 세트는 손에 쥐었을 때 느낌이 정말 좋고, 특히 폰은 움직일 때 밑부분이 무겁게 흔들리는 느낌이 좋습니다. 너무 예뻐서 지금은 누구나 볼 수 있는 주방 아일랜드 위에 상설 전시해 두었습니다.
크기가 딱 좋습니다. 말의 높이가 꽤 높고(킹은 거의 10cm에 달합니다), 보드는 두껍고 넓으며 꽤 무겁습니다. 보드의 마감 품질도 훌륭해 보입니다. 칸 주변에 테두리가 없어서 보드가 약간 휘어질까 봐 내구성이 걱정되기도 했지만, 실제로 만져보니 단단하고 견고하며 마감도 훌륭합니다. 몇몇 칸 사이의 이음새가 아주 희미하게 느껴질 뿐, 그 외에는 가장자리가 완벽하게 매끄럽습니다.
전반적으로 정말 마음에 듭니다. 가지고 놀기 좋고, 제작 품질도 훌륭해 보이며, 정말, 정말 예쁩니다. 5/5
I am very happy with the chess set I have received from Royal Chess Mall. The board is beautiful and so are the pieces. It is not absolutely perfect - and I did not expect it to be, as it is hand-crafted from real wood. So, if you extensively examine the board and each piece, you will find what you might call some small flaws, tiny knots in the wood, or perhaps one or two pieces that are a slightly different shade to the others, but nothing that would detract from the overall enjoyment of admiring and using the set. And I think the price is very fair for what you get, with the 20% discount I was able to secure (just write to them and ask). Free shipping too. So, all in all, highly recommended. I am already tempted to buy a second set of a different design, although I absolutely do not need it and don't have the space for it! Mhm, maybe as a birthday present for my godson...

I am totally thrilled with this chess set which I asked for as my main Xmas present. The quality of the set and board is fantastic and the packaging was also top notch. Would highly recommend this seller. The set is taking pride of place in my lounge. It is a beautiful piece of modern art as well as my favourite game.
