These French Chavet pieces have taken over as the main choice for long study sessions. I've had them with me everywhere I go over the last few months. Beautiful.
During the first study session with the new pieces, 17th July 2023, I felt inspired to compose. I quickly discovered that 12 squares, occupied by one of each type of chess piece both black and white, could create a big R on the chess board (for Royal Chess Mall). Soon I had the Mate in 3 which you can find in the pictures. Hopefully it is a worthy tribute to the craftsmen responsible for this set.

The pieces and board are excellent. They not only look amazing but feel heavy and very quality. I also had a minor issue with the order and Royal Chess Mall resolved it very professionally. So happy with my purchase!

Me compré en este caso el ajedrez de 10 pulgadas, es el ajedrez de mejor calidad y más bonito que he visto por ese precio, me lo compré para entrenar en mi casa con ejercicios y analizar partidas y valió totalmente la pena; por otra parte el envío fue en 1 semana como lo acordado, llego en un embalse muy bien protegido

the figurines are excellent, not to mention the quality, they arrived in about twenty days with the Indian post, there is no damage, everything was nicely packed, I recommend buying here
Just recieved Slightly Imperfect 1950'S Soviet Latvian Pieces and they are absolutely stunning. Could only find one slight imperfection on the entire set and it is barely noticeable. Very please with this purchase and would definetly order from here again and will recommend company to any one searching for a quality set of pieces.
These pieces are amazing, much recommended. All the pieces are nicely weighted and are really nice to move. I also bought the 55mm (square size) rosewood board and they go good together. The pieces have a good proportional size to the board which makes them a perfect fit for eachother. As all the other reviews say the photos won't make up for what it looks like in person. The black pieces of rosewood are so beautiful but/and look a bit different depending on what light hits them. I realized that sunlight makes these pieces really stand out whilst with worse lighting the look darker and less "veiny"
