Is this board weatherproof enough to leave outside in the sun and in the rain on our patio?

Thank you for your question.
Marble chess boards can generally be used outdoors, as they are more resistant to environmental conditions compared to wooden boards. However, even marble is not completely “weatherproof” for continuous outdoor exposure.
Prolonged sunlight can cause discoloration over time, and constant exposure to rain or moisture may affect the polish, joints, or lead to surface dullness.
We would recommend using it outdoors occasionally, but not leaving it permanently exposed to sun and rain. Keeping it in a covered or shaded area will help maintain its finish and longevity.
