I'm really satisfied. The delivery was quick, the packaging was very rugged and protective. Every piece was individually wrapped with a thick layer of packaging foam. The pieces are masterfully crafted. They feel heavy the padding is thick, so they are silent. And they look gorgeous 😍 on my 35mm square size board. It totally worth the price.
My second set of Chess Pieces from this Shop and again I'm very impressed from the quality especially for this low price.
Couldn't be happier with the product. Space constraints limit me to a 40cm x 40cm board with 40mm squares and there aren't that many high-quality (hand-made, weighted) options out there at a suitable size, especially as I was specifically looking for Zagreb pieces. I pulled the trigger on these and they arrived from India (to Germany) six days later with DHL (no additional tax). I checked all the pieces and there are no cracks or signs of poor workmanship. The pieces are weighted and come with extra queens, so ticked all the boxes for me; they are just the right size for the board and match up very nicely (Walnut Deluxe from Rechapados Ferrer).
My only criticism would be that the chin on the knights are at a rather sharp angle (see picture attached) and not as shown in the pictures (and other Zagreb pieces I've seen). It's a minor gripe but worth mentioning.
Overall, I'm very pleased. This is my first purchase from Royal Chess Mall and I would happily use them again in the future.
Excellent Library set perfect for 1.5 inch board
Excellent craftmanship. They fit perfectly on my Chessnut Air board. Well done, well made. Shipping a little slow but was sent from India. So, it was worth the wait.
Good piece of set, but delivery cost too expensive. You can deliver it to USA for free with DHL/FeDex, why charged to China even it is much closer.
Bought primarily as an analysis set - the quality in such a small set is unparalleled. I will be buying the RCM full sized Zagreb pieces next.
Finally a small stylish set perfect for desk top analysis. I'm pleased by the carving and finish which is at the same level as larger sets. The weighting is adequate for pieces of this size. A set that'll get heavily used.
