Just right for 1950s' Fisher Dubrovnik chess pieces

Bought this board to play with the 1972 Fischer Spassky set (also from RCM), and boy was I amazed at the quality of the board. It's smooth, has strong distinct colors and a nice rich look. The board is great! If you're looking for a high quality chess board, then look no further!

"完美" : refer to my review on the 1972 Fischer Spassky chess pieces from the same seller. Highly recommended and if I require and chess-related items in the future I will be looking at RoyalChessMall first!

Hello
Can you please advise if the following item is constructed with veneer?
21 inches Large Chess board in Golden Rosewood & Maple Wood - 55 mm Square
I would like the option to remove the felt bottom and play on the other side of the board.
Thanks
Hello,
Thank you for your question.
This is a solid wooden chess board made with Golden Rosewood and Maple wood for the playing surface. It is not a veneer board.
The underside has a support base layer (engineered board/cardboard with felt finish) which is added for stability and to prevent warping over time.
