This is the nicest chess set Ive ever seen. The pieces are heavy and weighted well. They are very stable on a board. There are some slight imperfections though I would expect this from a hand made item, and these add to the authenticity. Im very happy with this purchase and have no hesitation recommending it.

These chess pieces look better than the pictures

I was surprised by the high quality of these metal pieces. Their weight feels wonderful in your hand with the king approaching 300 g . I was looking for a chess set worthy of my minimalist coffee table and I found this set paired with the 18" marble chessboard (57mm quare size) to be the best fit. The simplicity, elegance and quality of the craft and the materials are beyond what the pictures can convey and even the small surface imperfections, barely noticeable on a superficial inspection, add character to these hand crafted chessmen.
The delivery was incredibly fast and the customer service was attentive and responsive to all my inquires about the shipping. No extra charges, taxes or custom fees, just as advertised for my country.
