This chess set is amazing. I built a custom curly maple and figured Claro walnut chess board with 2.25 inch squares. This chess set looks stunning with this size board and compliments the board. I spent a good deal on $ on the wood to make the chess board and wanted pieces to match the quality. I got exactly what I wanted and more. The price was cheaper than many sets of far inferior build. If you are thinking about getting this set, do it right away!

Questi pezzi sono incredibili, molto consigliati. Tutti i pezzi sono ben pesati e sono davvero piacevoli da spostare. Ho acquistato anche la tavola in palissandro da 55 mm (formato quadrato) e vanno bene insieme. I pezzi hanno una buona dimensione proporzionale alla tavola, il che li rende perfettamente compatibili tra loro. Come dicono tutte le altre recensioni, le foto non rendono l'idea di come sia dal vivo. I pezzi neri di palissandro sono bellissimi ma hanno un aspetto diverso a seconda della luce che li colpisce. Mi sono resa conto che la luce del sole fa risaltare questi pezzi, mentre con una luce peggiore appaiono più scuri e meno "venati".

The pieces are all solid hardwood weighted internally so a stiff breeze won't blow them over. They arrived all the way from India in about five days via super fast Fedex shipping. All pieces are intricately carved to the smallest detail. Well worth the price!
