Onze gereproduceerde schaakstukken uit de Sovjettijd van 1940 zijn een reproductie van het zeer populaire Carbolite schaakspel op clubformaat dat gebruikt werd in het USSR Schaakkampioenschap in Moskou.

Zoals bij veel andere Sovjet Schaaksets, heeft ook dit ontwerp afwisselende kleuren op de koning en de koningin.

De stukken hebben een mooie ontwerpsymmetrie met het paard dat op een unieke manier lijkt op de standaard schaakridders in stauntonpatroon.
