This is a great quality chess board with notations. This board is similar to the old Drake boards in appearance but is thicker. Although the playing squares are not exactly 2.25 the build quality, the color, and finish are well crafted. This is one of the best quality chess boards with notations that I have found. I like the square corners instead of round corners.
