Really beautiful chess set. The grain in the wood is quite stunning. The pieces are well weighted and feel luxurious in your hand. The finishing is really well done! I am very happy - thank you! I was very happy with the chess set. very detailed and the unique look stands the set out with typical Stanton sets at similar price. I have not seen a set similar to them by any other chess company. I was going to by a similar set from the Chess Store until I saw this set.

The set is nice, but I thought it came with a board. All the reviews below the listing talked about the board and I didn't see where it said "board not included". That was a big disappointment for me. Now I have to spend more and get a board. Wish it had been clearer. Came quickly though.
